Jeep Build

100s of hours have been poured into this vehicle over the last 4 years in garages, parking lots, even in my apartment living room. Everything has been done, from regearing and changing pinion and caster angles, to sound system and electical wiring. Everything was done by me with the knowledge of experienced individuals in the space. This build taught me a lot about mechanics, fabrication, and design implimentation, as well as teaching me how to physically perform the tasks i needed to such as mounting tires and fabricating custom suspention components.

Welding

In order to make many of the ideas I had a reality, welding was required. I learned and progressed over time to mig weld mild steel and cast iron. This allowed me to do things such as stretch the wheelbase by 4 inches and make custom trackbar brackets. It also taught me about the reality of joining components such as cast iron and steel. These materials cool at diferent rates so in order to not crack or stress the weld, they must be heated and allowed to cool slowly while monitoring for cracks.
